Three Decades of Chaos and Defiance
Forged in 1993 from the depths of the underground, ThemalefiK is not just a band, but a philosophical manifestation spanning over three decades. Founded by vocalist and songwriter Claudio Monteiro, the project was born with a dark and uncompromising vision of the world, channeled through a sound that merges the raw ferocity of Black Metal with the crushing weight of Death Metal.
From the beginning, ThemalefiK's trajectory has been marked by authenticity and a refusal to bow to dogma. The early years were a testament to their primal fury, with the release of the cassette tape LIVE ALBUM (1994), a visceral record of their live energy. The demo "Vergonha" (1998) solidified their lyrical identity, exploring themes of corruption, hypocrisy, and social decay that would become pillars of their work.
The turn of the millennium saw the band refining their dark craft. The demos "Vida" (2003) and "Grandiose Side" (2005) showcased sonic maturation, with sharper riffs and even more chaotic atmospheres, laying the foundation for their first major assault.
In 2011, ThemalefiK finally unleashed their first full-length album, "Your Belief". The record was a landmark, presenting the world with a cohesive and devastating vision of their lyrical and musical universe. The consistency of their message was reaffirmed with the single "Against the Nazarene" (2015), an anthem of defiance that resonated strongly within the extreme metal scene.
A bold new era began when Claudio Monteiro established a base in Nagoya, Japan. Active in the Japanese scene for nearly four years, ThemalefiK initiated a new chapter of artistic expansion. The full-length album "My Inner Demons" (2024) was the first fruit of this new phase, combining decades of experience with renewed energy. As a nod to their roots before a new leap forward, the demo "Vergonha" was re-recorded in 2025, connecting past to present.
Now, in 2025, ThemalefiK reaches its apex with the release of "COVENANT OF CHAOS". Preceded by the single "The Invisible Man", this new album is the culmination of over 30 years of rebellion, evolution, and reflection. It is a sonic testament that unites the fury of the past with the clarity of the present, a definitive statement of their philosophy: "NO GODS. NO MASTERS. ONLY CHAOS."
After more than three decades, ThemalefiK remains an unrelenting force in extreme metal, faithful to its dark essence — not merely making music, but manifesting a philosophy forged in pain, chaos, and defiance.
Currently, the band is open to collaborations with labels, distributors, and partners interested in supporting the physical release and global distribution of "Covenant of Chaos".
